Philosophy

The Directors and staff of LIFE Four Corners Child Development Center believe that children deserve the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe, enriching environment.

  • We believe learning happens through positive relationships, exploration, experiences.

  • We believe that children are competent, capable of complex thinking, curious and rich in potential.

  • We are committed to furthering their education through play and curriculum (Teaching Strategies Creative Curriculum).

  • We believe play is integral to children’s learning and essential to quality of life in childhood.

Exploration and play are a child’s primary way of understanding the world.

Children are agents of their own learning, actively building knowledge, skills, dispositions, and feelings.

We are committed to fostering each child’s self-esteem, well-being and growing need for independence. All aspects of their development and learning are interrelated and interdependent.

LIFE Four Corners provides warm, personalized care and developmentally appropriate programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school age children. We are a family-owned and operated center, and that shows through our committment to children, our families, and the community. By fostering a love for learning with the children in our care, we are preparing them for the world, and their journey with learning and relationships.

Health & Safety

Quality care can be achieved with consistent, basic health and safety practices in place. In order to provide quality care, we are sure to maintain the integrity of our building and ensure the well-being of the children in our care. Every classroom follows NAEYC and NJ Grow Kids standards, as well as standards provided to us through Teaching Strategies Creative Curriculum.

Children's health is crucial to quality care, and we take it very seriously at LIFE Four Corners. We are still following COVID-19 Guidelines, and children must provide a negative COVID exam prior to starting in our program. If a child displays any symptoms of COVID, they will need to provide a negative COVID exam prior to returning to program. By remaining dilligent and on top of the guidelines, we are able to provide quality care and maintain the health of the children in our program.
